It is included in the programs \u201cSecond 7 summits\u201d, \u201cStars of Bezengi\u201d,\u00a0\u00a0\u201cSnow Leopard of Russia\u201d. Mount Dykh-tau\u00a0is located on the territory of the Kabardino-Balkaria\u00a0national park\u00a0next to the famous Bezengi wall &#8211; the highest part of the Main Caucasian Range.\u00a0Bezengi region host six\u00a0out of\u00a0eight five thousand meters\u00a0peaks of the Caucasus.\u00a0If you want\u00a0to climb Dykh-tau, you may choose\u00a0one of more\u00a0than 10 different routes from 4B to 5B difficulty category\u00a0(In Russia routes are divided from level-1 to level-6 with A and B sublevels on each level).<br \/>\nWe offer climbing to the top\u00a0by\u00a0the northern ridge\u00a0(rock-ice\u00a0combined route,\u00a04B),\u00a0first made\u00a0by the English climber John Kokkin\u00a0in 1988.\u00a0It is one of the easiest and nowadays might be the safest route to climb Dykh-Tau. On the other hand, it is really technical, so some rock climbing and rope skills are required for the successful climb. Good acclimatization is a must also, so best to climb Dykh-Tau being already well-acclimatized or to spend some days in the region of Bezengi before the climb.<\/p>\n<h2>Itinerary of 13-Day Expedition to Climb Dykh-Tau.<\/h2>\n<p>Day 1.\u00a0Arrival to Mineralnie Vody airport, four-hour ride (200km) to the Bezengi mountain camp. You can rent all the needed gear in Pyatigorsk, but it&#8217;s more convenient to pre-order everything, so that we deliver it straight to the airport and you don&#8217;t loose time and don&#8217;t risk that you will miss any gear for your Dykh-Tau climb.\u00a0Overnight in Camp Bezengi.<br \/>\nDay 2.\u00a0Final gear check, so that we don&#8217;t carry anything useless, acclimatization, checking rock-climbing experience and tests of working with rope. Overnight in Camp Bezengi.<br \/>\nDay 3. Hike to Djangi-Kosh. Overnight in camp.<br \/>\nDay 4.\u00a0Climb to Sella peak. Overnight in camp.<br \/>\nDay 5.\u00a0Descent to Camp Bezengi, overnight there.<br \/>\nDay 6.\u00a0Rest day.<br \/>\nDay 7.\u00a0Trek to \u201cRussian camp\u201d<br \/>\nDay 8.\u00a0Trek to VCSPS camp.<br \/>\nDay 9.\u00a0Climb Dykh-Tau<br \/>\nDay 10. Descent to Bezengi camp<br \/>\nDay 11-12.\u00a0Reserve days.<br \/>\nDay 13.\u00a0Transfer to Mineralnie Vody for departure home.<\/p>\n<h2>Price of the expedition to climb Dykh-Tau includes:<\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 Guides: a leader guide of the group all through the ascent and assistant guides on the day of summiting (with one guide leading 1-2 climbers).
