According to the Bible, it was the final destination of Noah&#8217;s Ark. Climbing Mount Ararat provides an opportunity to study an ancient culture while climbing to an altitude of 5000m.<\/p>\n<p>Climbing Mount Ararat doesn&#8217;t require any previous climbing experience. Even a beginner in good physical condition can climb it.<\/p>\n<p>Mount Ararat is a dormant volcano that is currently located on the territory of Turkey. The mountain has two peaks &#8211; Big Ararat (5065m) and Little Ararat (3925m).<\/p>\n<p>The duration of the routes for climbing Ararat varies. Acclimatisation takes place on the mountain itself, as there are no other significant altitudes to climb. Progress from camp to camp depends on the physical fitness of the group and the season &#8211; in April the amount of snow makes the ascent much more difficult and the descent much easier.<\/p>\n<h2>Climbing Ararat.<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Day 1.\u00a0<\/strong>Arrival in Ygdyr (you can optionally pay by van, in which case the transfer is paid separately). Overnight at the hotel.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 2.<\/strong>\u00a0Breakfast at the hotel and drive to the village of Eli, followed by an ascent to the first camp (2200m). The climb takes about five hours. Overnight at camp.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 3.<\/strong>\u00a0Breakfast in the morning. Ascent to camp 2, 4200m, descent to camp 1.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 4.\u00a0<\/strong>Move to camp 2 (4200m), pitch tents, prepare for climbing.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 5.<\/strong>\u00a0Early start to the summit of Ararat (5137m) and descent to camp-1 at 3200m.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 6.<\/strong>\u00a0Reserve day. After breakfast we remove the camp and descend to the village of Eli, transfer to the hotel in Ygdyr. Overnight at the hotel.<br \/>\n<strong>Day 7.\u00a0<\/strong>Departure.<\/p>\n<h2>The price of Ararat climbing tour includes:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Mountain guides (1 for every 4 climbers).<\/li>\n<li>Transfer Ygdyr-Ararat-Ygdyr.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Hotel in Van.
