The programme is built for participants with previous ski-touring experience, a confident and controlled descent off prepared pistes and enough endurance for a long day at altitude. This is not a skiing course and not a first outing on touring skis.<\/p>\n
Mountain Guide arranges the meeting at Igdir airport, the transfers along the route, hotel and tented accommodation, meals, the necessary permits, load carriage by horses and the work of the guiding team. On summit day the ratio is no more than four participants to one guide.<\/p>\n
A full ascent and an unbroken ski descent from the summit are not guaranteed. Mountaineering crampons and an ice axe may be needed on the upper part of Ararat, and the guide decides where the ski descent begins according to the snow, the ice, the wind, the visibility and the state of the group.<\/p>\n
Important<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- An avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel are compulsory for every participant; one set for the group is not acceptable<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Ski-touring experience and a confident off-piste descent are compulsory; the programme is not intended for beginner skiers<\/strong><\/li>\n
- A transfer by way of Van is possible but is paid separately; the standard transfer is arranged through Igdir<\/strong><\/li>\n
- The state of the snow and the highest point that can be reached and skied change through the season; the final decision rests with the guide<\/strong><\/li>\n

The programme is built for participants with previous ski-touring experience, a confident and controlled descent off prepared pistes and enough endurance for a long day at altitude. This is not a skiing course and not a first outing on touring skis.<\/p>\n
Mountain Guide arranges the meeting at Igdir airport, the transfers along the route, hotel and tented accommodation, meals, the necessary permits, load carriage by horses and the work of the guiding team. On summit day the ratio is no more than four participants to one guide.<\/p>\n
A full ascent and an unbroken ski descent from the summit are not guaranteed. Mountaineering crampons and an ice axe may be needed on the upper part of Ararat, and the guide decides where the ski descent begins according to the snow, the ice, the wind, the visibility and the state of the group.<\/p>\n
Important<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- An avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel are compulsory for every participant; one set for the group is not acceptable<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Ski-touring experience and a confident off-piste descent are compulsory; the programme is not intended for beginner skiers<\/strong><\/li>\n
- A transfer by way of Van is possible but is paid separately; the standard transfer is arranged through Igdir<\/strong><\/li>\n
- The state of the snow and the highest point that can be reached and skied change through the season; the final decision rests with the guide<\/strong><\/li>\n

The programme includes a tented camp at 3200 m, an acclimatisation outing to 4200 m and a reserve day.<\/p>\n The programme is built for participants with previous ski-touring experience, a confident and controlled descent off prepared pistes and enough endurance for a long day at altitude. This is not a skiing course and not a first outing on touring skis.<\/p>\n Mountain Guide arranges the meeting at Igdir airport, the transfers along the route, hotel and tented accommodation, meals, the necessary permits, load carriage by horses and the work of the guiding team. On summit day the ratio is no more than four participants to one guide.<\/p>\n A full ascent and an unbroken ski descent from the summit are not guaranteed. Mountaineering crampons and an ice axe may be needed on the upper part of Ararat, and the guide decides where the ski descent begins according to the snow, the ice, the wind, the visibility and the state of the group.<\/p>\n Important<\/strong><\/p>\n
