It is not a route for a first acquaintance with the mountains: the pass may involve moving in crampons, working in a harness and descending on fixed ropes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important.<\/strong> The trip does not include an ascent of the summit of Nanga Parbat. The decision to cross the pass, to change the schedule or to turn back is taken by the group leader, taking account of the weather, the state of the snow and ice, the pace and how participants
