In one journey participants meet the natural world of the Brahmaputra valley and the cultures of the Bodo, Khasi, Konyak, Mishmi, Adi, Tagin, Apatani and Mishing peoples, along with the crafts, markets and religious traditions of the region.<\/p>\n<p>No mountaineering experience is required, but the trip is long: it involves lengthy road journeys, walks on uneven trails, ferry crossings and accommodation of widely varying standard, from town hotels to lodges, guest houses and traditional homes.
