The route runs through the remote Nar Phu valley, gains altitude gradually to Base Camp and leaves twelve days for acclimatisation rotations, the establishment of three high camps and the choice of a suitable weather window.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A logical objective for a first experience above 7000 m<\/li>\n<li>A Mountain Guide expedition leader<\/li>\n<li>The route through Besisahar, Dharapani, Koto, Meta and the village of Phu<\/li>\n<li>Acclimatisation excursions to 4080 m and 4780 m before the move to Base Camp<\/li>\n<li>Base Camp at 4850 m and three high camps<\/li>\n<li>Twelve days for high-altitude work, recovery and the weather wait<\/li>\n<li>A genuine expedition combined with an introduction to the culture of high-mountain Nepal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Himlung Himal is often chosen as the next step after 6000 m peaks and lower high-altitude expeditions. It is not, however, a route for a beginner. A participant must be confident with crampons, ice axe, harness and ascender, understand the rules for moving on fixed ropes and stay effective through many days of living in tented camps.<\/p>\n<p>The strength of the trip is not a promise of an &laquo;easy seven-thousander&raquo; but a considered sequence of altitudes. The approach through Nar Phu makes it possible to check how the body reacts at 4080 m and 4780 m before the first night at Base Camp. The high-altitude stage is not tied to a summit day promised in advance: the tactics change with the weather, the state of the route and the readiness of the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The climb is not suitable for participants without previous high-altitude and mountaineering experience<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The composition of the high-altitude team, the climbing permit, the road transfers and personal Sherpa support must be confirmed in writing in the package option you choose<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Insurance must cover mountaineering to an altitude of at least 7126 m, search and rescue and helicopter evacuation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Reaching the summit depends on acclimatisation, the weather, the state of the route and the leader&#8217;s decision<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The trip is not designed for children and is not a family climbing
