7 days: Monday to Sunday
Six nights in Terskol and a basic set for the week. This format is for anyone who wants to take their time, spread the effort out and leave more room for rest and for changing conditions at the resort.
The current price is on the page of the programme you choose. Do not rely on an old screenshot or on the price in a search snippet: the cost applies to the published dates, the accommodation format and the contents of the package.
What the basic package includes

Cheget, Azau and Terskol are different places. Do not choose a programme on the strength of the phrase “next to the lift” without knowing exactly where the accommodation is and which part of the resort is operating on your dates.

Hotel Alamat is in Terskol at 66 Elbrusskaya Street. The hotel’s website carries genuine photographs, contact details and a form for enquiring about dates. Rock’N’Rent operates from the same site, so picking up or adjusting your kit does not mean a separate trip to another village.
Mountain Guide tells you the specific property and the room terms before payment. If a private bathroom, two separate beds, an early breakfast, parking or an extra bed matter for your trip, say so in your first enquiry.
How skis or a snowboard are matched to you
Before arrival you fill in a form: type of equipment, height, weight, shoe size and riding level. This information helps get a set ready, but it does not remove the need to try things on. Ski or snowboard boots should fit snugly, with no painful pressure and no obvious heel lift.
On the spot, check:
- the size and condition of the boots;
- that the skis or board match the set you were promised;
- poles, bindings and that nothing is missing;
- the hire period and the return time;
- the terms for a swap if you find a problem.
A helmet, body protection, goggles and clothing are not automatically part of the basic set. Their availability and cost are confirmed separately.
Getting to Terskol
The programme starts in Terskol. Flights, trains and the long-distance leg of the journey are not included in the basic price. For most people the nearest major transport hub is Mineralnye Vody, but the exact route depends on your tickets and where you are travelling from.
You can book an ElbrusTransfer transfer. To get a quote, give the date, your flight or train number, the number of passengers and your luggage, especially if you are bringing your own skis or snowboard.
The lift pass and resort operations
The lift pass is bought separately under the resort’s current rules. Mountain Guide does not include it in advance, because cable car operating hours and access to the pistes depend on the weather, on technical decisions and on official restrictions.
Check the official information on pistes and lifts before each day. An old forecast, a photograph or a message from a friend is no confirmation of how the resort is running now.
Weather and a fallback plan
Wind, snowfall, visibility and maintenance work can all change the plan. Neither the operator nor the hotel can guarantee a certain number of hours on the snow. A longer format gives you more days in the calendar, but it is not a guarantee of weather either.
If the pistes are closed, decisions about lessons and an alternative programme are taken according to the actual conditions. Do not go onto a closed slope and do not try to substitute freeriding for piste skiing on your own initiative.

Seven days is the format for an unhurried trip, several days on the snow and time to recover. It works better for anyone who would rather not spend most of the trip travelling.
