Day 1. The journey begins in the heart of Namibia — its capital, Windhoek. This cozy city, set among hills and mountains, blends modern life with colonial architecture, creating a unique atmosphere. We will stroll along its green streets, visit the historic Christuskirche with its beautiful stained-glass windows, and explore the Old Fortress, where the spirit of the past can still be felt. The name of the city translates as “the place where the winds blow,” yet it is far from desolate — the mild climate and well-kept parks make it a true oasis. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, where you can try game meat such as oryx or antelope.
Day 2. After a delicious breakfast, we head to Keetmanshoop — a town surrounded by remarkable natural attractions. Our first stop is the “Giant’s Playground,” where enormous basalt boulders look as if mythical giants once played with them. Next, we visit the Quiver Tree Forest. These trees, resembling living sculptures, rise from the ground like giant candles. At sunset, their unusual silhouettes become even more mysterious. After a full day, we will admire the starry sky — Namibia is famous for its exceptional clarity and brightness.
Day 3. Today we travel to Lüderitz, a charming coastal town on the Atlantic Ocean that still preserves the atmosphere of the German colonial era. Along the way, we stop at an artificial waterhole where wild desert horses live, astonishing in their ability to survive harsh conditions. We then visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop — once a wealthy diamond-mining settlement, now a surreal place slowly being swallowed by the desert. Sand fills abandoned houses, creating an otherworldly scene. Upon arrival in Lüderitz, we enjoy an evening walk along the ocean and dinner at a restaurant overlooking the waves.
Day 4. After morning coffee, we set off toward Sossusvlei, famous for its red sand dunes. The road leads through changing landscapes: barren plains give way to mountains, and beyond them stretches the endless desert. Upon arrival, we are greeted by majestic dunes shimmering in shades of red and orange. After settling into a cozy lodge, you can enjoy the silence of the desert, listening to the wind softly brushing the sand.
Day 5. Early in the morning, as the first rays of sunlight begin to color the sky, we head to the dunes of Sossusvlei. This is a magical time when nature reveals its full beauty. We will climb the famous Dune 45 and admire the vast sandy expanses. Then we visit Deadvlei — a mysterious place where ancient trees stand like frozen guardians of time. We finish the day at Sesriem Canyon, a narrow and deep gorge carved by water over millions of years.
Day 6. After breakfast, we travel toward the Atlantic coast to the charming resort town of Swakopmund. Along the way, we may see welwitschias — extraordinary plants that look as if they came from a distant prehistoric past. In Swakopmund, you can stroll along the promenade, admire German architecture, and visit numerous cafés and restaurants offering both African and European cuisine.
Day 7. Today we head to Walvis Bay for a marine excursion by catamaran. During the trip, you may see dolphins, pelicans, and seals that boldly swim up to the boats. The excursion concludes with an elegant lunch featuring champagne and fresh oysters. After returning to Swakopmund, you will have free time to relax or take part in optional activities such as quad biking or kayaking.
Day 8. In the morning, we depart toward Khorixas. On the way, we stop at Brandberg Mountain, which appears to glow under the rays of the setting sun. We then visit Twyfelfontein with its ancient rock engravings left by hunter-gatherers. We will also see the “Organ Pipes” basalt formations and the Petrified Forest, whose age spans millions of years. Every corner of this region holds a story worth discovering.
Day 9. After breakfast, we visit a Himba village to learn about the lifestyle of this proud people. Their traditions and way of life have remained almost unchanged for centuries, offering a rare chance to connect with ancient cultures. Next, we head to Etosha National Park — one of Namibia’s most famous wildlife reserves. On our first safari, you may see elephants, giraffes, lions, and many other animals living in their natural habitat.
Day 10. This day is dedicated to exploring Etosha National Park. The morning safari offers opportunities to observe animals searching for water and food. During the day, we will watch birds and enjoy the surrounding nature, and in the evening, we head out again to witness the park’s nocturnal wildlife.
Day 11. We travel to the private Erindi Game Reserve, renowned for its rich wildlife diversity. Cheetahs, black rhinos, African wild dogs, and many other rare species live here. During the day, you can visit a San (Bushmen) village and learn about their fascinating traditions. In the evening, we enjoy a farewell dinner under the stars, sharing memories of this incredible journey.
