Mount Fisht (translated from Adyghean as "White Head" or "Saddle-head") is protected by the Caucasus Biosphere Reserve, where you can find a huge number of unique plants. It is a part of the Main Caucasus Range and divides territorially the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. Fisht is special for its accessibility for a beginner and a training ground for a mountaineer. Here you can find any category of difficulty from 1-B to 6-A. Year-round glacier and weather conditions make this mountain special and desirable for adventure lovers.  The most popular and accessible variant of ascent is via the Big Fishtin Glacier (1-B). The second most difficult route is via the Small Fishtinsky Glacier (2-A). The most difficult routes lie on the eastern walls of the mountain (5-A, 6-A). The western part of Fisht is known for the source of the stream, which then pours out into the favourite waterfall "Vodopadisty".
