Not a tour. A properly organised arrival.

Independent travel does not have to begin with visa emails, finding a car after a flight, or working out where to sleep and eat late at night. Elbrus Light Pack handles the first practical steps in the Elbrus Valley — exactly the things that normally consume the most time and energy on arrival.

By the next morning, you are rested, oriented and ready to continue with your own plans.

What is included for $190

Visa invitation and support

A specialist provider handles the invitation process. We send you the exact procedure and list of required information in writing, without promising an unverified processing time or outcome.

Group transfer from Mineralnye Vody Airport to the Elbrus Valley

One seat on a confirmed group transfer, one way. The meeting point and transfer details are confirmed in writing before arrival.

Your first night in the valley

One night at Salam Hotel or another comparable large hotel confirmed in advance. The exact accommodation is confirmed before payment.

Dinner on arrival day

After the journey, you do not have to find a restaurant, work out payment or order food in an unfamiliar language. You can have dinner, settle in and leave the rest until morning.

The practical support already included

  • A pre-departure guide. Documents, arrival, meeting arrangements, paid services and exclusions in one concise file.
  • A local coordinator contact. Before arrival, you receive the name and contact details of someone who knows you are coming. Round-the-clock support is not included.
  • Arrival and check-in confirmation. We confirm that you have reached the valley and checked in.
  • A brief local orientation. The office and rental shop, groceries, cash and exchange, the valley layout and the cable-car system — only the practical information you need.
  • An equipment fitting appointment. You can send your sizes in advance and agree a fitting time before arrival.
  • An offline guest card. Your hotel address, meeting point and important contacts remain available without an internet connection.
  • A clear list of optional costs. Before payment, you know what is included, what may be requested separately and the confirmed prices.

  4. Before departure, you receive the meeting details, coordinator contact and accommodation information.
  5. At Mineralnye Vody Airport, you take your confirmed seat on the group transfer to the Elbrus Valley.
  6. You check in, have dinner and rest.
  7. The next morning, you receive a brief orientation and, if requested, attend your pre-arranged equipment fitting.
  8. Your 15% Light Pack discount is applied to the separately paid equipment rental.
  9. From there, you continue with your own plans.

Who it is for

  • independent international travellers and small groups;
  • people who can plan their own route but do not want to learn Russian arrival logistics from scratch;
  • first-time visitors to the Elbrus Valley;
  • international clubs and organisers who need reliable local arrival support without buying a complete guided programme.

Elbrus Light Pack is not a climbing tour. It does not include a ready-made climbing programme, a mountain guide, route-safety management or a full-time interpreter.

What is not included

  • the return transfer and additional nights;
  • the equipment-rental fee itself — confirmed Light Pack guests receive 15% off it;
  • insurance;
  • cable-car tickets, snowcat transport and the national park fee;
  • a mountain guide or climbing programme;
  • supervision or control of your independent route.

Additional services may be requested separately. Availability, price and terms are confirmed before each separate order.
