Technical Ararat is simpler than the similarity of peaks - "classmates", simple popular five-thousanders (and Mont Blanc) - Kazbek, Elbrus, Damavend, volcanoes of Ecuador. The route is quite straight and the elevation gains quickly, quickly and resets. Horses can deliver cargo to any laboratory, further allowing for climbing. Until June, snow prevails on the route of climbing Ararat, with the observed pluses and minuses of this fact.
he danger of rockfalls is reduced, it becomes easier to climb in a number of ways - in the morning the snow is like concrete, smooth and comfortable when moving in crampons, while on the descent it is soft, allowing you to quickly run down. The disadvantages include the fact that the horses may not reach the desired camp, and in some cases the snow can turn into a trap for a late climber, turning sour in the sun, it can suddenly turn out to be very deep and you will spend a lot of effort on the descent.

Mount Ararat is legendary, and for good reason. According to the Bible, it was the final destination of Noah’s Ark. Climbing Mount Ararat provides an opportunity to study an ancient culture while climbing to an altitude of 5000m.
Climbing Mount Ararat doesn’t require any previous climbing experience. Even a beginner in good physical condition can climb it.
Mount Ararat is a dormant volcano that is currently located on the territory of Turkey. The mountain has two peaks – Big Ararat (5065m) and Little Ararat (3925m).
The duration of the routes for climbing Ararat varies. Acclimatisation takes place on the mountain itself, as there are no other significant altitudes to climb. Progress from camp to camp depends on the physical fitness of the group and the season – in April the amount of snow makes the ascent much more difficult and the descent much easier.
