Climbing Elbrus: all tours of Elbrus and Kazbek are two volcanoes located nearby, very conveniently connected logically. Due to the fairly active acclimatization on Kazbek without cable cars and almost no transport, as well as due to high overnight stays and slightly more difficult terrain on Kazbek, climbing Elbrus in such a combined program takes place almost always without much effort and waste of extra time.
Important information:
- Any exit from the hut on the day of the ascent is an attempt.
This program is an expanded version of our classic Kazbek climbing program. For many climbers, it makes no sense to fly several times to the same corner of the planet, to the same mountain region, in order to descend these simple mountains. The ascent to Kazbek is made from Georgia (ascents to Kazbek from Russia are currently illegal), through a Weather station, all accommodation during the program is planned in cabins (sometimes, in high season, at times when the Weather Station is busy, it is more comfortable and private to stay in tents), as well as on Elbrus, where the ascent is from the South side it allows you to ensure guaranteed fast logistics and good comfort. This ascent of Elbrus can also be extended to the “Cross of Elbrus” program or simply traverse Elbrus from North to South, immediately closing all questions for yourself, which is more interesting North or South of Elbrus, more interesting can be seen from Kazbek or Elbrus.
