We basically offer two programs of Elbrus climb – 8 and 11 days

8 days program of climb mt. Elbrus

Day 1. Arriving to Mineralnie Vody airport. 200km (3 hours) ride to the mountain hotel. Overnight stay in hotel. The hotel is situated in the beginning of 100km Baksan valley, almost on the slope of Elbrus. In the village Terscol closed by exist post office with internet, some shops, resque service, some equipment shops and rentals.

Day 2. Acclimatization hike (using ski lift before) to mt. Cheget (3470m). Perfect view on Elbrus, our climbing route, Baksan valley and observatory on peak Terskol.

Day 3. Ride ski lifts up to huts (3720m), hike up to 4500m. overnight in huts.

Day 4. Relax day. Preparations for the summit day.

Day 5. Climb mount Elbrus. Early start (2-4am). 3-4 clients for one guide. Possible to use the snow cat (extra pay) that can bring you up to 4550m.

Day 6. Descent to the hotel. Celebrations.

Day 7. Reserve day in case of bad weather or trek around.

Day 8. Leaving to airport.

Included:

  • Hotel, shared double or triple room (by the program)
  • Accomodation in the huts (by the program)
  • Transfers by the program – buses and lifts
  • Meals three times a day. Dinner on the first day, breakfast on the last day.
  • All needed permits and registrations
  • Guides. Leader guide through the tour and assistent guides on the summit day (1 guide for 3-4 clients). Only one summit attempt for guides is included.
  • Group equipment (ropes, ice screws, radios)

Not included:

  • Riding snow cat on the summit day
  • Single accomodation
  • Personal equipment
  • Service (guide, cook) in case of additional climbs.

Elbrus 11 days program

Day 3. Acclimatization hike (using ski lift before) to mt. Cheget (3470m). Perfect view on Elbrus, our climbing route, Baksan valley and observatory on peak Terskol.

Day 4. Ride ski lifts to the ‘Mir’ station (3500m) on the slopes of Elbrus and hike up to 4200m. Passing by base camp (huts) on the altitude 3720m. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5. Ride ski lifts up to huts (3720m), hike up to 4500m. overnight in huts.

Day 6. Hike up to 5000m. Overnight in huts.

Day 7. Relax day. Preparations for the summit day.
