Greater Madagascar 4×4: Tsingy, Baobabs, Lemurs and Isalo

An honest eighteen days rather than an artificial twelve to fourteen: the western Tsingy and Kirindy, plus the lemur forests, the highlands, Andringitra and Isalo, and the south.

A guaranteed Mountain Guide group departure is scheduled. The route is published in a working edition. The price and the exact composition of services will be added once the accommodation, the permits and the local team have been confirmed.

Day 1.

Arrival in Antananarivo, a briefing on the roads and a check of the hired 4x4.

Day 2.

Andasibe: a daytime and a night-time wildlife activity.

Day 3.

Andasibe: a second full day of observation with a park guide.

Day 4.

Antsirabe and the highland landscapes.

Day 5.

The transfer to Miandrivazo.

Day 6.

Kirindy: dry forest and a night walk.

Day 7.

River crossings and the off-road transfer to Bekopaka.

Day 8.

The Manambolo and the Little Tsingy.

Day 9.

The Great Tsingy: a demanding route with a compulsory guide.

Day 10.

The return towards Morondava and sunset on the Avenue of the Baobabs.

Day 11.

The long transfer from Morondava to Antsirabe.

Day 12.

The transfer to Ranomafana and a night walk.

Day 13.

Ranomafana: a full day in the forest.

Day 14.

Anja and the transfer to Tsaranoro and Andringitra.

Day 15.

Andringitra or Tsaranoro: a full walking day.

Day 16.

The transfer to Isalo.

Day 17.

Isalo: a full walking day, and then on to Toliara.

Day 18.

The domestic flight to Antananarivo and the international departure; the exact schedule is to be confirmed.
