About the tour.

Well-acclimatised climbers in excellent physical condition can choose a shorter route to climb Mount Ararat.  This short route can also be used as an excellent continuation of any of our other climbs. For example, an Ararat climb can follow an Elbrus, Kazbek or Damavend climb.

Программа восхождения

Day 1. Upon arrival at Igdir airport, you will be met by our representative, and on the transfer you will immediately go to the camp located at an altitude of 3340 meters. The way to the camp, like the mountain itself, will leave vivid impressions in your memory — here you are surrounded by majestic landscapes, pristine nature and fresh mountain air. At this first stage, it is important to tune in to the upcoming ascents and rest before the main ascent. Overnight in a tent.

Day 2. The morning will start early, when the fog has not yet cleared, and the mountains are hidden in its magical haze. You will go out on the ascent at night in order to meet the dawn at the very top. On this day, you will have to conquer the height of 5,137 meters — the top of Mount Ararat. The path will not be easy, but every step will bring you closer to your goal, and in moments of relaxation you will be able to enjoy the views that will open up from each new horizon. At the top of Ararat, you can see other high mountains of Turkey and Iran, including the Egyptian Erciyes volcano. After reaching the top, the descent to the camp at a height of 3340 meters will begin, where it will be possible to restore strength.

Day 3. This day will be dedicated to the descent and return to the world of civilization. Breakfast at the camp is the last stage of staying at altitude. After you pack your things, the way down will begin. Going down to the village of Eli, you will feel how the air is changing, and how the mountain expanses give way to a calmer and warmer atmosphere. On the transfer you will go to the airport for departure. Have a nice trip!
