Zambia: Kafue, the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa

Three different safari ecosystems, with the emphasis on walking and boat safari rather than a repeat of the standard northern Tanzanian pattern.

A guaranteed Mountain Guide group departure is scheduled. The route is published in a working edition. The price and the exact composition of services will be added once the accommodation, the permits and the local team have been confirmed.

Day 1.

The group assembles at Solwezi and transfers to the northern part of Kafue.

Day 2.

Entry into Kafue and Busanga by whichever road is actually passable.

Day 3.

Kafue: a full day of game viewing.

Day 4.

Kafue: a second full day of game viewing.

Day 5.

Kafue: a walking and boat component, where the operator is confirmed.

Day 6.

The transfer to Lusaka.

Day 7.

Lower Zambezi: the transfer into the park and an evening activity.

Day 8.

Lower Zambezi: a game drive and a boat trip.

Day 9.

Lower Zambezi: a walking safari with a licensed guide.

Day 10.

The return or flight via Lusaka; the main vehicle is repositioned separately.

Day 11.

The transfer or flight to Mfuwe and an evening game drive.

Day 12.

South Luangwa: a full day of game viewing.

Day 13.

South Luangwa: a walking safari and an evening game drive.

Day 14.

A morning game drive and the finish at Mfuwe or Chipata.
